The winter of 2017 took a long time to take off, in fact in 2017 we only had three days of snowfall spread out through the end of October to the end of December, so the feeling of winter not arriving again had taken over by the time winter finally made an effort to look like winter. Better late than never, but that was in January 2018. This photo is taken in the middle of December and it really sums up the way winter arrived – a little bit of snow, a little bit of cold (hence the ice), but all the other stuff looked like it was still autumn. After the super hot summer we just had I hope that will lure out a proper winter as well. Afterall it has been 5 years already.
