Theo Bosboom - Winter glow

One of the best places to experience very cold and sometimes even Arctic conditions in the Low countries (the Netherlands and Belgium) is to go to the High Fenn (Hoge Venen), the roof of Belgium with an altitude of 600 to 700 meters above sea level. Although this is of course still not very high, it canm make the difference between real winter or not. This picture was taken after sunset at Noir Flohay, a small forest on the top of a hill with half burnt trees.
