Dorin Bofan - Shield

 

This is an alternate image of a personal favourite of mine. The funny thing is I was so focused on composition that I completely missed the presence of the squirrel. On a later backpacking trip I had a nature photographer friend looking over these images directly on the camera and the first thing he saw was the little fellow chilling in the tree. I guess my future as a wildlife photographer is not so bright.
