Werner Bollmann - Nordic Squadron

Guillemots are perfectly adapted to their marine environment. They are excellent swimmers and able to dive even better. When fishing they use their short, slender wings as if they were flying through the ocean. But uo in the air they are no good performers – every special manoeuvre causes problems and landing on a narrow ledge almost always ends up in a funny performance. At least they are really fast and a flock of these birds look like a perfect squadron.
