Heike Odermatt - Dreaming of a moose
Some years ago when I still photographed with slides I went the first time to Finland. One of my desires was to photograph a moose. Every day I was looking for the moose, but I didn’t saw him. One early morning in the Patvinsuo National Park I saw this scenery, nice mood but no eye catcher. I saw something swimming in the water but I could not identify it. I thought of a piece of wood. I photographed these scenery with this unidentify thing, because without it, the image was not interesting for me. When I got home after this trip and I finally got my developed slides back I was very surprised that I still had photographed a moose …

I like the mood of the image, but mostly the story.
Congrats Heike!
