Dieter Damschen - Crane

At the moment crane migration season in Northern Germany comes to its climax. So for me it is busiest part of the year and I am happy about very good possibilities for taking pictuers at the Baltic Sea and in the are of Linum, where there are the biggest accumulations of cranes during fall.

A vett difficult shot that is superbly executed. Usally with birds that have such Ling necks, the focus tends to go to the body. But you have nailed it! Great pose as well.
