Traditional agricultural practices in the Abruzzi region of central Italy allow many native flower species to grow in temporarily abandoned fields.
In the first days of summer, the diversity of species create a unique and marvellous color palette: sometimes a nice distraction from rugged mountains,
spooky forests and wild wolves …

    Like Jaak said the best plant pictures are the ones that show something more than just a beautiful flower. The ones that capture the mood around it. And this pictures does that perfectly. I love the out of focus foreground.
