Roy Mangersnes - Puffin portrait

I love getting down low with my subjects using the foreground as softener and getting distance to the background. It was spring and the rain had been pouring, so getting down with this Puffin on Hornøya Island in Finnmark, Norway, meant getting down on my stomach in wet snow and stay still for a long time. However, the beauty of the Atlantic Puffin kept me warm.

I have seen some more shots from this serie on your blog, different puffinimages!
Love this one, low angle can be great, most of the time.
