Swallow’s view of Estonia
Sven Začek 24/03/2015
All the photographs have been taken while airborne, but this time with four different means of aerial transportation. When I was taking pictures from an airplane or a helicopter I was a photographer, but when I was flying a motorized paraglider or an octocopter, I was both a pilot and a photographer. New means of getting the camera to mimic the perspective of our national bird the barn swallow, enabled me to apply a new approach to photograhpy, but the essence of the photos remained the same, which was to capture amazing views in great light and show them in different natural phenomena. The theme of light was essential and was also explored by Fred Jüssi, who describes light in different seasons.
