Bruno D'Amicis - The crane tree
Exactly one year ago, I have been travelling and working in the remote Kafa region of Southern Ethiopia. Among the many marvels that I had discovered while exploring the area, there was a huge and spectacular tree that endangered black-crowned cranes were using as a roosting site. I tried a few times to photograph them against the colors of sunrise, but unfortunately they would all fly off before dawn. Only one morning, a few of them had remained on the tree long enough for me to accomplish my envisioned image.
