Werner Bollmann - Serious
Sometimes it's a matter of a second: I was lying at the shoreline of Lake Kerkini in Greece to take pictures of the Dalmatian Pelicans. Using a beanbag I waited for some birds looking directly into my camera. After a while I realized that this task wasn't as easy as I had expected - the perfect symmetry I was looking for lasted only for such a little time that I was always too late when pressing the release button. I nearly wanted to surrender when this old guy did me the favor to stay at the right place for a second. Maybe it's interpretation, but for me he looks like thinking "Hurry up! Fish! Now!".
