Sandra Bartocha - Autumn Colours

Sometimes images that haven't been planned are turning out much better than the ones you put a lot of effort in. After a foggy morning shoot of a lake scene I decided to do some makro photography as there was still some time before breakfast (on a weekend with friends photographing). So I turned my camera to some common wormwood that was covered with dew and some spiderwebs and tried some different angles. When I saw the snail I knew that the converging lines together with the shadow/backlight situation could make an interesting image.
