Jaak Põder - Not another jumping spider again!

What can I say - I am very, very, very close to loving these creatures. The bad part is that there are not very many species here and the ones we have are usually really small. The good part is that they are here, no need to fly to the tropics to meet them.

This male spider (evarcha acurata, ca 4-5mm long) is just chilling under it's 'sleeping nest' on the pine tree (they build one if no suitable hiding place is available). It's a very good chance that if you find the 'sleeping nest', you can find the spider in the 1 meter radius for the next few days, often even weeks.
