Theo Bosboom - Autumn river
Autumn on Iceland is short and intense, like in most countries close to the polar circle. It is a bit harder to find the beautiful autumn colours, because there are hardly any trees growing. This picture was taken near the Bruarfoss, a beautiful waterfall in South-west Iceland. I wanted to combine the coloured spots of (unsharp) autumn leaves with the view of a flowing river and therefore took the picture through a branche with nicely coloured birch leaves. I liked the abstract effect it gave.
