Werner Bollmann - The big migration
It’s one of the most exciting natural wonders worldwide: More than 1.5 million wildebeests are on an endless migration, which leads them clockwise through the vast savannas of the Serengeti-Masai-Mara ecosystem. They are following the equatorial rainfalls, always in search of fresh grass. Danger is around them all the time – predators, river crossings and poachers. But against all odds, the big herds keep on wandering as long as humankind gives them space to roam.
