Werner Bollmann - Taiga
Making pictures of the vast Taiga forest is not easy. You need a higher elevation to give an impression of this endless seeming landscape. Hannu Hautala – in his friendly and supporting manner – gave me the advice to follow the ridges close beside the Kitka River in the Oulanka National Park. It was a great day in the woods: Rainy, misty, silent, the scent of the wet forest and a single siberian jay following me for a while– just perfect!
