Sandra Bartocha - Poppies
It has been the year of the poppies in Northern Germany ...
Due to the strong frost period in February the rape fields didn't grow as expected and I assume the farmers gave them up and didn't use herbicides on these.
So cornflowers and poppies had a great chance to grow and fill up the frost-damaged patches on the rolling hills.
