Roy Mangersnes - Polar Obsession

This year I have already done three successful trips to the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard. In September I will do one more, but still I cannot get enough. On my latest adventure I was the host for a WildPhoto Travel photographic expedition with 12 multinational guests. After several trips to the Arctic I still feel privileged to come as a visitor to this magnificent place on earth. I still feel the Arctic buzz and the thrilling satisfaction when we are able to get an intimate meeting with the king of the ice world. I can only imagine the memories that are imprinted in the minds of my guests, coming from places around the globe far away from Svalbard. I hope they will remember and carry this experience with them for life, and share their images to make more people care about the future of the Arctic. It seems people like to preserve what they love - I love the Arctic!
