Luciano Gaudenzio - Deers in fog
Cansiglio Forest has always been a gym for my photography, it's really close my home, about 20 minutes by car, going from 100 to 1200 meters above sea level. The beech forest, one of the largest in Italy, is a magic place, especially because in every season, until the first light of dawn, and sometimes for whole days, is completely immersed in the fog.
When the light can penetrate this sea of clouds, the chances are really good, partly because the forest is home to one of the largest Italian populations of deers...
In one of these mornings I made this shot, when deers were retreating slowly inside of the forest.
