Heike Odermatt - Lockdown as an opportunity …

Alpine choughs looking for something to eat between a row of tripods of photographers. A scene that returns every year at many hotspots in the Alps. This winter it will look different in many places, less tourism gives nature a little respite. While our living space is narrowed by the lockdown, nature regains its space.

For nature, this lockdown is a good chance to catch breath a little. I wish you all also to recognize the chances of this lockdown in your life as well, to learn to appreciate the little everyday things even more in order to be even quieter in nature later on. A change in thinking is needed to maintain a livable earth.

With this in mind, I wish you all a nice Christmas and a peaceful start into the new year with new opportunities. Take care!
