Markus Varesvuo - Willow Tit in December light

Not a lot of light on a December day in Kuusamo, Northeast Finland – days are short and more often than not, overcast. But when light breaks through, it’s all the more lovely. Willow Tit (Parus montanus).

Outstanding capture and use of back lighting and beautiful colours with a rich warm feeling and superb timing.
