Sepp Hackhofer - Alftavatn
Alftavatn means translated swan-lake, a beautiful name for a beautiful spot in a beautiful country. The lake is situated along the famous Landmannalaugar-trek, also called Laugavegur. In a few days i´ll be there again guiding a group from my country through Iceland. We´re walking every day and to me walking is the best way to experience nature, to get quiet and peaceful. It´s just funny, I´ve never seen a swan on Alftavatn. So where does the Name come from? Maybe this year some swans will be there. I´m looking forward to another beautiful trip to my second home, Iceland!
