Sepp Hackhofer - Landmannalaugar

Landmannalaugar is one of the many hotspots in Iceland, visited by thousands of people every year. The colourful rhyolithic rocks origin from huge volcanic eruptions in the past. The image shows the sight towards Torfajökull from the top of Brennisteinsalda, just about one and a half hours walk from the camping ground. Many times I have been in the area, but never get tired of its beauty. This moment, shown on the image was one of the very special ones.
