Markus Varesvuo - Taiga Bean Geese at moonrise

On their long migration journey, geese stop at fields to feed and rest, sometimes staying for several days, but they often choose a spot of water for night roosting. This is taken in southeast Latvia, one late April evening, as the geese were flying to a disused fish pond with the rising moon in the background.
