Zoltán Gergely Nagy - Under the spell of winter

 

A lone Dog’s tooth violet holding out in the face of a cold snap. These early bloomers are usually tough enough to withstand a few days of freezing temperatures, but as spring had been progressing nicely in the lower regions of Transylvania, these cold days have been a huge strain for plants and animals alike.
