Theo Bosboom - In the grip of winter

In my country the Netherlands winters are often mild and unspectacular. If you go south a little bit however, to the High Fenn area in Belgium, you encounter real harsh winter conditions quite frequently. This is mainly due to the higher altitude. I go there often when I want winter, probably my favourite season for photography. This snowy landscape was taken in Brackven, a wonderful area full of willows, birches and water.
