Zoltán Gergely Nagy - Elegance of a roe deer

Using camouflage to hide and wait for the animals to appear is such an amazing feeling, surely primordial, hinting back to our hunter-gatherer ancestry. In between long trips it’s refreshing for me to just go out to the surrounding forests and try to work with different subjects close to home.

I was testing a lightweight camouflage solution for photographing animals in the high mountains, and it was exciting to see this deer wondering up to just a few meters away from me before becoming suspicious. Simple joys!
