Roy Mangersnes - Magic beach

I am currently back in Antarctica for my second expedition this season and I would take the opportunity to share this pre sunrise image from St. Andrews Bay on South Georgia to show a very special moment for me. To be able to land on this magic beach at dawn, 2:30 in the morning, and to witness thousands and thousands of King Penguins emerge from the sea to join the rest of this 400.000 birds strong colony is very special. I hope to see it again one day!
