Theo Bosboom - The golden duck

Trying to do two things at the same time is usually not a good idea, especially not if you are a man … On a beautiful morning in nature area De Hatertse Vennen in the Netherlands, I was photographing landscapes, but was also attracted by the ducks in the water. I tried to resist the ducks in the golden light and focus on my landscapes, but when I couple of new ducks flew into the area I couldn’t help to quickly change the settings on my camera and try to capture the ducks. I was lucky with this shot, having the duck sharp on a beautiful spot in the frame. After this brief moment I continued with my landscapes with a smile on my face.
