Alex Mustard - Spaghetti
A colony of spaghetti garden eels (Gorgasia maculata) stretch up out of their burrows on a rubble slope. Garden eels are shy, pulling back into their burrows as you approach. They are a great subject for remote photography, setting a camera up on a tripod and then backing away until they remerge.
Location: Dumaguete, Dauin, Negros, Philippines. Bohol Sea, Tropical West Pacific Ocean.
