Roy Mangersnes - Taking a step

Photography for me is about telling the stories. It often means getting my camera into places where most people don’t go to show them the amazing natural world that surrounds us. In Antarctica I ducked my head under water with Leopard seals to photograph them where they truly belong. What an amazing creature! So curious and gracious in the water. This animal is built for speed, and it is easy to understand why this apex predator is feared by penguins. I can not wait to go back and stay in the water with them!
