Oriol Alamany - Wetlands at dusk

Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) flock with Black-winged Stilts (Himantopus himantopus) in the wetlands of Aiguamolls de L’Emporda Natural Park, in the Costa Brava. Twenty years ago the Glossy Ibis was an extremely scarce bird in Spain, but today I’m happy to see big flocks of this species in the wetlands of my country. Habitat and species protection works!
