Bruno D'Amicis - Lost and found
Being a full-time wildlife photographer, like many dear colleagues here at NPB, each year I do often end up covering a huge variety of subjects and taking several thousands of images per month, which quickly pile up in the hard drive lying in wait to be looked at. Then, one has to find the time to properly edit and process all of them and this might often happen long after the images have been taken. Whilst this does eventually mean that one gets way behind with any archiving plan, it also make some images “settle down” a little and slowly “grow” to “pop out” at a second glance. Recently, I was happy to find this one, belonging to a series of just four shots, which depicts a lucky instant I literally froze on a misty morning in June while walking across a large wet meadow. The roe deer pair was listening to a third one coming out of the woods.
I hope you like it as much as I do!
