Zoltán Gergely Nagy - Secrets of an old tree
Old trees are usually home to a wide variety of species in a forest. This tawny owl is just one of the obvious ones, but many insects for example, couldn’t even live here if there weren’t enough trees over a certain age living in the forest. Home to ancient oaks that are as old as even 800 years, the forest of Breite really is a place of biodiversity and surprises.
