Luciano Gaudenzio - Backlit Squirrel at Central Park


I’m 40 years old and after a lifetime in nature I never seen so many squirrels all in one place, where? In the center of one of the largest metropolis in the world, New York.
The occasion was an assignment work, last autumn in the Big Apple; in Manhattan, Central Park, after taking the skyscrapers at dawn, I heard a soft sound behind me and with great surprise I see this backlit squirrel eating surrounded by colorful maple leaves; it was a vision and, of course, I could not resist…
