
Zoltán Gergely Nagy - New generation
In a remote valley in the Retezat Mountains of Romania, a mother bear takes its newborn young into alpine territory, in search of spring grasses and plants. Most Romanians admire and respect their large predators, and would like to see stricter rules for the hunting parties, yet oftentimes negative campaigns in the media try relentlessly to show them in a bad light here in Romania.
It was beautiful to experience this wild yet strangely peaceful scene, and I couldn’t help but ask myself – are they really ”public enemy number one?”
