Bruno D'Amicis - The oldest

A few years ago some scientists “discovered” the oldest beech forest in Europe in a valley of the Abruzzo National Park. With more than 500 years of age, those are really impressive plants and grow very slowly in a rather steep and thick forest. Moist autumn days give an extra feeling to such a special place.
