Roy Mangersnes - Arctic night

At 82,4 degrees north, 15 hours sailing north from Spitsbergen and far into the Arctic ocean, I witnessed my first full moon in the Arctic. Normally the midnight sun dominates, but on my latest expedition the night had arrived to Svalbard, and with it the moon.

Location: Svalbard, Norway

i love, with a bit of fear though, the apocalyptic feel of your image!
