Theo Bosboom - Arctic tern


Arctic tern on telegraph lines, near a small village in the south west of Iceland. Arctic terns are the animals that have the longest migration in the world, migrating from their Northern breeding grounds (including Iceland) to Antarctica and back each year, covering around 70.000 km for the roundtrip.
