Zoltán Gergely Nagy - First light on Great Whites

Being one of the largest birds in Europe, Great White Pelicans are a majestic sight as they fish and patrol the channels and lakes of the Danube Delta in South-East Romania. A few weeks ago, the waters that caused the terrible flooding earlier in Central Europe have traveled all the way down the Danube, reaching this area, but only rising the water levels back up to where they were in spring, so there was no risk of flooding. In this changing landscape Pelicans were searching for the lakes with the best depth and prey for them to fish in.
