Oriol Alamany - Altiplano glow

In our first trip to Chile my wife and me rented a campervan and drove for one month along the high chilean altiplano. It was the first time we were at so high altitudes (until 4800 m) so both suffered a lot of altitude sickness. After that we did some trips to the Himalayas (climbing until 5400 m) so by now we are more used to work in these difficult conditions.

The night I made this image we slept absolutely alone at 4200 m at the Salar de Surire shore. At dusk the light was soft and beautiful over Cerro Arintica (5597 m) and Cerro Puquintica (5780 m).
