Zoltán Gergely Nagy - Breakfast

Alpine marmot eating one of its favorite flowers.

In the first half of the 20th century these charismatic mammals were hunted to extinction in Romania, but thanks to an ambitious re-introduction program in the 1970-s they can be seen and heard again in many of their former alpine ranges. For me spending time with them is always a thrill.

I will go to Austria to photograph these charismatic alpine rodents, it's great to photograph them with a wide angle :-)
