Zoltán Gergely Nagy - Ice Shapes
During this year’s wet and cold May, the glacial lakes of the Carpathians managed to hold on to their ice covers a little bit longer than usually, and the slow thaw had produced some really interesting patterns. The ice on Viorica Lake in the Retezat Mountains was partially covered by water, and from a distant ridge, I wanted to capture this fascinating, transient mix, that was constantly changing.
