Werner Bollmann - Archaic


Horsetails always attracted me with their interesting stems, leaves and sporophylls. The Swamp Horsetail (Equisetum fluviatile) is very common in the reed beds of Scandinavian lakes. Especially backlight situations show the beautiful structures of these archaic herbs to advantage.
