Theo Bosboom - Orange tips in habitat

 

A pair of orange tips at a rainy day in nature reserve De Bruuk, not far from my home in the Netherlands. The picture was taken handheld with a compact camera (Canon G10), which I find perfect for wide angle macro shots, because of the minimum focus distance of only 1 cm. The butterflies didn’t move, because it was still early in the morning and cold.
