Zoltán Gergely Nagy - In search of colors

Starlings are not necessarily as black in color as they seem, in fact they have glossy feathers, reflecting many colors including pink, purple and green. On the piers of Blackpool, I tried to see if I could find colors in their feathers while choosing to photograph them as if they had none, in a backlit situation.

As abundant and common as they seem, starlings are in fact an official Red List species in the UK because of the rapid decline in their numbers in recent years.
