Alex Mustard - Mobula Dance

Sometimes as a wildlife photographer you are presented with such natural beauty, that all you have to do is point your camera in the right direction and click. This is pretty much what happened when this school of lesser mobula rays swam beneath me in the Caribbean Sea.

They swim with elegant beats of their wings and can appear very graceful underwater. Unlike their larger cousins the mantas, mobulas are much more dynamic creatures. Swimming quickly, regularly schooling and often breaching clear of the water.
