Werner Bollmann - Five Ravens

Ravens have many interesting traits. They are intelligent, curious, extremely adaptive and the show high developed social behaviour. But above all they are timid. At least in areas where they are subject to hunting. It can take days for the birds to accept bait, and the tiniest disturbance makes them disappear into the woods in a flash. Only their hoarse calls testify to their presence.
