Heike Odermatt - This is part of life

 

The last summers in the antarctic area much more of the chickens wil not survive. The Southern Ocean ecosystem is threatened by overfishing. Scientists say urgent international action is needed to safeguard the Southern Ocean’s unique wildlife. This picture I made in 2008 and than I heard about the big mortality not only from the Gentoo’s but also from the King Penguins. It is really time to do anything!
