Theo Bosboom - Hot spring Landmannalaugar

Last summer I revisited Landmannalaugar, the place where my passion for Iceland started in 2006. At my first visit I was mainly focussed on the beautiful mountain scenery, but this time I took my time to photograph the details in the landscape. You don’t have to walk far, because the whole region is full of geothermal activity and there are numerous hot springs with beautifully coloured minerals.

Beautyfull pattern, full of colours and textures! The oranges, whites and darks combined with the roughness of the soil creates an image of great beauty! I woul put it in my living room walls as fine piece of art!
